The story
The Saga of Zorathion is a pixel-art action fantasy built against a strict 48-hour game jam clock. I handled the engineering and leaned on open-source art where the clock demanded it.
The core loop — exploration, combat, and a short boss arc — came together in Unity with C#, with sprite work in Aseprite. The hardest calls were all about scope: cutting ideas fast enough to finish something coherent instead of something ambitious and broken.
It took first place at the jam and is still playable in the browser through Unity Play.

- Went from an empty Unity project to a playable build in under 48 hours.
- Designed the gameplay loop, controls, and encounter pacing.
- Hand-painted the pixel assets in Aseprite.
- Took first place at the Rhodes Game Jam.
